Her 25+ years of work in health and wellness give her a broad range of knowledge and experience to provide comprehensive health solutions, with no side effects.

Dr. Ann Rea, DACM, L. Ac.

Ann has spent her entire working career in healthcare after obtaining her bachelor’s degree in biology from Defiance College in Ohio. She is a true scientist and medical nerd at heart but after years working in hospital labs and on the administrative side of healthcare she craved meaningful connection and more fulfilling work.

She was introduced to Chinese Medicine through a physician friend and after a few acupuncture treatments for an old rock climbing injury she knew what her next steps would be.

Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine was the perfect way to combine her love of science and medicine with the deep meaning and personal impact she wanted.

After 4 years of hard work she obtained her master’s degree and founded Harmony + Health Acupuncture in 2010.

She went on to receive her Doctorate Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, putting her at the highest level in her field

In 2023, Ann also completed the 2 year Graduate Mentorship program taught by very famous Sharon Weizembaum of the White Pine Institute.  This very detailed program taught herbal diagnosis and treatment via Classical Chinese Medicine at the highest level.

Ann has a passion for cooking, growing her own fruits and vegetables, and raising chickens (she currently has four). Every Wednesday, you can find her shopping at the Uptown Farmers Market. She loves to relax with a glass of wine and her puppy in her lap. She and her husband enjoy hiking and traveling, both in the US and abroad.
